Tubefex

Everytime I power up my Tubefex it gives me a message "Outputs Muted" and nothing works until I "reinitialize" the factory settings. I took it to a repair shop in Tulsa but they couldn't find the problem. Anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you you get it repaired?
