Coming soon - 13/16” diameter tone bars

Post by Michael Hillman »

I’ve had a few players ask for this diameter bar, in 3 3/8” length so we’ve ordered the material. We believe it’s a great size when a 3/4” diameter is too small, and 7/8” a touch too large. Estimate is 5-6 weeks we will have a few, price will be $56.95 including shipping to US Zips.

Thanks, Len, I see the payment however I do not have your address on file and it did not appear in the PayPal transmittal. Shoot that over to me and I’ll get that bar right out to you. Michael

Got my 13/16 tone bar. A great addition and a very usable bar for a different vibe.

Hey Mike...I am assuming the tone bar is stainless steel. What alloy stainless will be used for the bars?
I had a D12 MSA...and a 12 string bar...3-1/2 Inch long , 1 inch in diameter and weighs 12 oz. I had to be careful not to drop it on my foot. I made a 10 string bar out of 316 stainless steel. 1-1/8 inch diameter, 3-1/8 long with a 1-1/32 diameter bore x 2-1/2 deep.
I would attach photos but I don't know how to transfer them from a file in my computer? Can you help me with that?
Tom

Hello Tom, the 13/16” bar (13/16” x 3 3/8”) are part of the assortment of powder coated bars that we make. Did a few of these in various colors for players who felt 3/4” diameter was too small and 7/8” a bit too large. Our main focus is powder coated bars in a variety of sizes and colors, we do make one stainless steel (grade 316), a sitar bar with a flatted top. PM me if you have any questions, thanks! Michael
