What to use to reattach Sho bud dust catcher fretboard
Hoping some one has a product to use or some advice on what to use to glue down the dust catcher fretboards on my Sho Bud I just acquired. There not original to this sho bud and look to not have been installed/glued to the necks properly and have begun popping up. I want to take them off clean up the residue and re-attach them but just wondering what product people would use for this as the dust catcher fretboards are made of plastic.
Thanks

I use automotive 2 sided tape not an advertisement but 3M brand is the best I have ever used it is not cheep but will not damage the finish. It is used to hold the trim and emblems on cars, But can be removed it you do it right.

Are those dust catchers 3D plastic? If they are starting to warp, be careful trying to pull them back down flat.

Yah there 3D plastic, there is definitely a bit of warp to them. Hoping to put some weight on top of them and let them set.

Do people use a product other then naphtha to clean off the residue left behind after removal of the fretboards in preparation for installation of new ones?

How about "GooGone"?
